She created bitter melon bindery in 2017 when she discovered the irresistible beauty of washi (traditional Japanese paper), which became a signature element of her handmade journals and sketchbooks. Her YouTube channel has garnered over 180K subscribers, where she shares her craft process through tutorials and ASMR videos. Her beginner how-to guide, Handmade Books at Home, was published in 2023. In the past few years, her bookbinding practice has expanded into fine binding and book conservation as she advances her skills with the American Academy of Bookbinding and UCLA Library.
